About Lecturer: Kim Nam.Hyung is a professor and doctoral supervisor of Chungbuk National University of Korea, and a high-level foreign expert of Jilin University. He graduated from the College of Animal Husbandry at Oregon State University with a PhD in Agronomy, focusing on reproductive physiology. He has been engaged in the research on the mechanism of early embryonic development in animals, somatic cloning of animals and transgenic animals for many years, and has published more than 200 SCI papers. In 2006, he was elected as the youngest academician of Korea Academy of Science and Technology (KAST). He has been serving as the head of the South Korean national major project “Next Generation Bio Green 21” - Center for the Animal Bioreactor & Xenotransplantation, (CABX)” since January 2011, and has been engaged in the research and development of animal bioreactors based on modern genetic manipulation techniques, the production of animals for xenotransplantation of organs, the research, development and commercialization of new biological drugs, etc., with a research fund of USD 100 million. Over the years, he has instructed more than 100 master students, doctoral students and post-doctoral researchers, and has always maintained a good cooperative relationship with the College of Animal Science of Jilin University in personnel training, scientific research and achievement transformation.
