Introduction: This major aims to cultivate versatile talents who have solid basic knowledge in mathematics, physics and chemistry, have an international vision, have been trained in scientific thinking, professional theory and professional skills, have a good command of the basic theories, basic knowledge and basic skills of biological science and technology, and are capable of employing their theoretical knowledge and skills to engage in scientific research, technological development, talent training and management in teaching, scientific research, biotechnology industry and related fields. The students in this major will be trained to have a good command of the theory and technology of life science, as well as mastery of the knowledge and skills of animal science and animal medicine, so they will be capable of not only serving the biological industry, but also meeting the needs of talents for the upgrading of the livestock industry, the prevention and control of major animal diseases and zoonosis.
