On December 28, 2021, the College of Animal Sciences successfully held the 2021 annual meeting. It is divided into two parts: professors' Forum and Young Scholars' Forum. Professor Zhang Jiabao, Professor Li Chunjin and 11other11 experts and professors, young scholars and postdoctors made academic reports and exchanges. Professor Sun Boxing, dean of the College of Animal Sciences, and Professor Yuan Bao, vice dean, respectively, presided over.
The professors' forum was held in the morning, presided over by Professor Sun Boxing, dean. Professor Zhang Jiabao and Professor Li Chunjin madepublished academic reports entitled "Beef cattle provenance Innovation and its industrialization" and "exocrine and female Animal Reproduction" for teachers and students of the college. After the end of the report, Professor Zhang Jiabao, Professor Li Chunjin and the teachers and students at the meeting had a heated discussion and exchange around the relevant content.
A forum of young scholars was held in the afternoon, which was presided over by Professor Yuan Bao, vice president. Professor Li Ziyi of the firstFirst Hospital of Jilin University, Professor Liu Juxiong of theCollege of Animal Medicine, Professor Yang Yongjun, Professor Qiu Jiazhang and Professor Zhou Xu of theCollege of Animal Science were invited as review experts and judges. Four associate professors,including Yu Xianfeng, Jiang Hao, Wang Dongxu and Peng Dongqiao,; three lecturers, Sun Hao, Wang Chuanhuan and Yang Yuwei,; and two postdoctoral scholars, Yuan Hongming and Han Yang, made research reports on behalf of their respective disciplines and research groups. and conducted interactive exchanges with teachers and students at the meeting. The youngYoung scholars are well prepared, rich in content and concise in expression, fully demonstrating the scientific research progress and achievements of their respective research groups and research directions. Evaluated by the expert judges on the spot, Sun Hao won the first prize at this academic annual meeting, Yu Xianfeng, Yuan Hongming and Han Yang won the second prize, and Wang Dongxu, Jiang Hao, Peng Dongqiao, Yang Yuwei and Wang Chuanji won the third prize.
