  Time: 13:30 on March 29th, 2023.

Venue: conference room on the first floor of the college.

Topic: construction strategy and application scenario of genetically engineered mice.

  Keynote speaker: Dr. Han Yang.

Dr. Han Yang, who graduated from Beijing normalNormal University majoring in developmental biology, has been engaged in the development and application of genetically engineered mice for many years. He is familiar with the gene construction strategy and application scene of mice, and has in-depth research on the latest mouse disease model. He is currently the marketing and technical director of Yaokang Biology Group Beijing Yaokang Biotechnology Co., Ltd.

Content Abstract: inIn biomedical and other studies, it has been found that at least 70% of diseases are related to genetics. In order toTotruly show the mechanism of disease or treatment in the body, in vivo experiments are essential. Due to ethical and other reasons, we can notcannotdirectly carry out experiments in human beings. Experimental animals, especially genetic engineering model animals based on modern gene editing technology, have become an important tool to promote human biomedical research. This paper introduces the gene construction strategy and application scenescenario, genetic background and microbial quality control of genetically engineered mice, as well as some traditional and up-to-date disease models.
