  About the speaker: Wang Lixian, doctoral supervisor, researcher, Beijing Institute of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, chief scientist of pig genetics and breeding innovation team. Mainly engaged in conventional pig breeding, genome selection breeding, basic research on thegenetic mechanism of economic traits and welfare pig production technology development.

The main part-time jobs are: honorary chairman of the Pig Branch of China Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Association; Vice Chairman of Pig Branch of National Animal Husbandry Association; member of Pig Professional Committee of National Livestock and Poultry genetic Resources Committee; Deputy Director of National Pig genetic improvement Program expert Committee; World Animal Protection Association Humane and Sustainable Agriculture-China Pig Industry Project guidance expert.

Presided over and participated in more than 40 pig breeding projects and published more than 100 papers at home and abroad.
